Tom Wronowski is entering his twelfth season as the head coach of the Siena Men's Golf team. Since taking over the program in the spring of 1997, he has installed the tools necessary to make Siena one of the premier programs in the MAAC. His student-athletes are committed to a year-long program of competition and conditioning. During his tenure, Wronowski has been named MAAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year twice (2005, 2007) and led the Saints to back-to-back MAAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007. Most recently, Wronowski has coached Dan Abbondandolo and Don DeNyse to great success. Abbondandolo will be competing in his second straight U.S. Amateur in August and DeNyse won the Men's Golf MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2008. Wronowski, a 1972 graduate of C.W. Post College, resides in Latham with his wife Susan. He is also the father of Siena Women's Golf Coach Dave Wronowski. The duo marks the first time Siena has had a father-son duo coach the same sport. |
