Siena junior Kenny Hasbrouck was named MAAC Player of the Week for the first time in his career today. Hasbrouck led the Saints to a pair of home wins over teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament last season.

Hasbrouck averaged 21 points and shot 56% from the field and 63% from 3-point range in a 2-0 week for the defending MAAC Champions. He scored 20 points in the Saints season-opening win over WAC Champion Boise State on 7-10 shooting in just 24 minutes of action. In Siena's win over defending Ivy League Champion Cornell, Hasbrouck again led all scorers with 22 points. He averaged 5.5 rebounds, three assists and 1.5 steals on the week as well.

Hasbrouck, the Preseason MAAC Player of the Year, and the Saints will next be in action on Thanksgiving Day when they take on Tennessee on ESPN2HD at noon in the Old Spice Classic.

Hasbrouck was named MAAC Rookie of the Week eight times as a freshman, but it marks his initial MAAC Player of the week honor. Alex Franklin won the honor three times last year and Edwin Ubiles once.
