Booster Tickets Sold Out for 2008 Old Spice Classic

Oct. 22, 2008

Booster tickets are sold out for the third annual Old Spice Classic, ESPN Regional Television announced today. Only all-tournament and single-session tickets remain for the event, which will be held on Thanksgiving weekend at the Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla.

The booster tickets allow entrance to all three sessions (six games) involving a pre-designated team of the fans' choice. Fans can still purchase tickets to all six sessions (12 games) for $90 each, or single-session tickets (two games) for $15 each. Tickets are available at www.Ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster at (407) 839-3900 or through walk-up at the ESPN's Wide World of Sports® Complex Box Office.

The 2008 Old Spice Classic field includes eight teams: Georgetown, Gonzaga, Maryland, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Siena, Tennessee and Wichita State. Seven of those eight teams qualified for postseason play in 2007-08, including five in the NCAA Tournament and two in the Sweet 16.

The tournament consists of 12 games through three days, Nov. 27-28 and 30. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format. The full schedule is listed below.

Fans can also purchase tickets and travel packages to the tournament by going to www.AnthonyTravel.com or calling 1-800-736-6377.

The inaugural Old Spice Classic was played in 2006, with Arkansas defeating West Virginia in the championship game at Disney's Milk House. In 2007, North Carolina State edged Villanova for the Old Spice Classic championship.

Additional information, including travel packages, can be found on the Old Spice Classic Web site at www.oldspiceclassic.com. For more information on Disney's Wide World of Sports, visit www.disneysports.com.
