Steve Seymour begins his fourth season on the Siena staff after having spent 10 years at Drexel University.

As head coach at Drexel from 1999-2001, Seymour amassed a 28-29 overall record and a 21-15 conference mark. Some of early coaching victories came over Western Kentucky, Pennsylvania and Davidson. During the 2000-01 season, the Dragons were ranked in the top-25 nationally in rebounding.

Seymour also served as the top aide for Bill Herrion's entire coaching tenure, being promoted to associate head coach at the start of the 1995-96 season. Over those eight seasons, Seymour played an integral role in building Drexel into one of the top mid-major programs in the country, including a 134-47 record and an unprecedented three America East Championships that included three straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament. In 1995, Drexel recorded the school's first NCAA Tournament victory.

In addition to his coaching experience at Drexel, Seymour served as an assistant at St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. In his four seasons at St. Anselm, the Hawks posted a 74-47 record, won two NE-10 Championships and appeared in the NCAA Division II Championships twice.

Seymour is married to the former Doreen Ferguson, a1988 Second Team all-Big East selection as a senior at Providence College. The Seymours reside in nearby Clifton Park and have two sons, Sloan (5) and Sean (2).
