Baseball Players Help Out Homeless

Nov. 20, 2008

Siena baseball players Nick Messinger, Phil Cahill, Will Hassett and Kyle Hudson recently volunteered their time to assist area homeless through the Third Annual Home Sweet Gingerbread Home Event at Crossgates Mall. The quartet were an especially big hit with the kids at the Cookie Creation Station and helped us to raise over $600, but most importantly, awareness of the plight of the homeless and those in need in the Capital Region.

"I want to thank Nick, Phil, Will and Kyle for all their selflessness and hard work toward this worthy cause," Kathleen Fuller, the development coordinator for Homeless & Travelers Aid Society and a 1989 Siena graduate said. "They are a great example of the finest Siena has to offer and are a credit to themselves, their parents, and coaching staff."
