AS A JUNIOR: Was a mainstay in the heart of the Saints lineup...Tied for the team lead in several categories including: batting average (.279), hits (50), RBI (27), and homeruns (5)....Tallied nine doubles and reached base over 37% of the time...Proved to be a base stealing threat, registering 14 stolen bases...His 16 multiple hit games were also tops on the team...Played a solid left field, recording a fielding percentage of .950 with four assists.

BEFORE SIENA: An All-City and All-Metro selection at Althaft Catholic High, Hampton went on to play two seasons at Forest Park Community College in St. Louis where he was a Second Team All-American as a sophomore.
