Junior Darren Legere (Ghent, N.Y.) and freshman Carly Calogero were named MAAC Runners of the Week according to the conference's weekly report. Legere and Calogero each had strong showings in the Central Connecticut mini meet Saturday.

Legere placed fourth individually in a field of 64 men, helping the Saints to a fifth place finish at the meet. He completed the 5K course in 16:03 nearly a minute faster than his closest teammate.

Calogero placed 12th in a field of 77 runners, completing the 3K course in 11:57 to lead the Siena women in Saturday's meet.

The Saints compete in the MAAC Championships Friday at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
