The Siena men's and women's cross country teams participated in their biggest meets of the season to date, travelling to Notre Dame to run in the National Catholic Cross Country Invitational.

The men's competition, again won by host Notre Dame, finished 27th of 29 teams. Freshman Joe Richards (Schuylerville, N.Y./Schuylerville) finished in 143rd place, running the five-mile course in 29:58, to lead Siena. Classmates Brian Petschauer (North Bellmore, N.Y./Mepham) placed 150th in 30:26 and Chris Buno (Wallingford, Conn./Notre Dame) placed 160th in 30:48.
