Siena's men's cross country program was one of 27 Division I programs to be recognized an All-Academic Cross Country Team, With Distinction. The award is bestowed upon programs that boast at least a 3.25 team grade point average. Siena's men's team tied for the 18th best GPA in the nation, sporting a 3.28 team average.

"This is a great accomplishment, one we take tremendous pride in," head coach Jim Bowles said. "Academics are a top priority for us and to again be recognized as an All-Academic Cross Country Team is a remarkable achievement. This is an award we strive for every season."

Siena and Niagara were the only two MAAC men's programs to be recognized with distinction.
