Saints Finish Strong at NCAA Cross Country Championships New England Regional

Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena cross country team finished strong this afternoon in the New England Regional of the 2007 NCAA Cross Country Championships in Boston, Mass. The Siena women's team finished 29th overall, while the men posted a 33rd place finish. Freshman Brina Seguine led the charge for the women and sophomore Jed Turnbull was the Saints top finisher on the men's side.

Seguine competed the 6K course in 23:06.95 which stood 119th overall. Teammate Carly Calogero (23:40.20) was close behind finishing 155th. Samantha Grady (24:18.95), Andrea Hollinger (24:20.75) and Casey Morelli (24:39.80) also scored for the women.

Siena senior Darren Legere (34:32.95) finished 197th overall, while Ryan Donnelly (35:09.40), John Hart (35:12.85) and Frank Massi (35:33.90) were close behind in the 10K race.
