Siena Women Run 7th in MAAC Cross Country Championship

The Siena College women's cross country team placed seventh in the MAAC Cross Country Championships run Friday afternoon at Van Cortland Park in New York. Senior Katie Luker finished 15th individually, completing the course in 23:59.5. Loyola's Caitlyn Dunn won the event in 21:32.2. Iona won the team championship.

Junior Meghan Davey was the second Siena runner to finish, coming home in 24:37.6, 28th individually. Sophomore Ashley Dwyer was 51st overall and freshman Alyssa Cole checked in next in 54th place. Freshman Tara Heffernan crossed the line in 26:12.8 as the final Siena runner whose time was counted toward team scoring.
