Loudonville, N.Y. - Siena freshman Brina Seguine lead the Siena women's cross country team to a sixth place finish at the 2007 MAAC Championships this afternoon in Riverdale, N.Y. Sophomore Jed Turnbull led the charge for the Siena men who nabbed eighth place overall.

Seguine completed the women's 8K course in 23:16.7. Sophomore Andrea Hollinger finished just behind clocking in at 23:59.2 to earn 21st place. Carly Calogero (24:45.6), Casey Morelli (25:08.9) and Ashley Gardineer (25:33.2) also scored for the Saints.

Turnbull's 27:43.2 time on the men's course earned him a 38th place finish. Siena senior Darren Legere (28:05.3) secured 47th place, while Frank Massi (28:46.7), Ryan Donnelly (29:12.3) and John Hart (29:26.8) finished close behind.

The Iona men and women both notched first place finishes. The men's squad tallied an impressive 17 points, while the women racked up 24.
