Cross Country Places Seventh and 14th in Albany Invitational

The Siena women's cross country team placed seventh of 20 schools in the 37th annual Albany Invitational raced Saturday afternoon. The Siena men landed in 14th in the 23-team field.

The balanced Siena women's had their top-five finishers all finish within 14 seconds of each other. Kim Milton crossed the line first in 35th place with a time of 19:04.4. Teammate Kelsey Hanno was right behind in 19:05.77 and Michelle Milton, Joan Paul and Kate Luker each finished at 19:17.

Pat Gaffney led the Siena men as he has all season, finishing the course in 26:48.23-good enough for 52nd overall. Bryan Knipfing was next fastest at 27:17.92.
