 Women's Cross Country 17th, Men 20th at UAlbany
Oct. 17, 2009 Sophomore Ian Donnelly led the Siena men's cross country team with a 55th place finish at the 43rd annual UAlbany Invitational Saturday morning. He finished the 8K race in an all-time best 26:03. Freshman Lia Gizzarelli led the women's team with a career best 19:55. Donnelly was followed by David Ellsworth (137th - 27:27), Jonathan Duncan (138th - 27:35), Michael Cirocco (143rd - 27:50) and John Farley (146th - 27:57). Junior Jessica Morelli (107th - 20:03) finished eight seconds behind Gizzarelli. Chrissy DelSanto (118th - 20:20), Christy Bak (127th - 20:29) and Carly Calogero (131st - 20:34) rounded out the top five. Siena returns to action next Saturday in the Central Connecticut Mini-Meet in New Britain, Conn.
