Cross Country Places 15th and 19th at Albany Invite

Final Stats

The Siena College men's and women's cross country teams placed 19th and 15th respectively in the annual UAlbany Invitational Saturday afternoon. Carly Calogero led the women, cracking the 20-minute barrier as she crossed the 5K course in 19:26. Darren Legere led the Siena men, completing the course in 26:32.

The two programs each placed ninth among the Division I schools in attendance. In addition to Legere, Jed Turnbull (27:38), Shane Leighton (28:06), Mike Costello (28:33) and Paul Notar (28:43) each had their times count for the men.

On the women's side, Samantha Grady (20:01), Keelin Wellott (20:15) and Ashley Gardineer (20:32) joined Davey as the women's top finishers.
