Cross Country Places Second and Third at Rider Invitational

Oct. 8, 2005

Final Stats

Meghan Davey led a strong showing by the Siena women's cross country team Saturday, placing third individually as the Saints finished second of three teams. Adam Harding ran seventh on the men's side to pace the Saints third place finish in the four team field.

The event was contested in brutal conditions, as the rain and mud forced cancellations of events across the Northeast. The Siena women fell just short of front running Rider behind the efforts of Davey and teammates Katie Luker (4th), Ashley Dwyer (6th) and Alyssa Cole (7th).

Andrew Knipfing finished the 8K course in 28:09.90 just behind Harding to place 10th individually. Darren Legere and Justin Daino placed 13th and 14th.
