Saints Strong in Fairfield Invitational

The Saints cross country team had another strong showing Saturday afternoon in the annual Fairfield University Invitational. The Siena women placed third in the six team field, topping MAAC schools Fairfield and St. Peter's. The men finished fifth.

Michelle Milton was the top female Siena finisher (3rd) finishing the 5K course with a time of 19:19. Twin-sister Kim placed seventh just 12 seconds later. Joan Paul and Kelsey Hanno rounded out Sdiena's top-20 finishers, placing 16th and 20th respectively.

On the men's side, Pat Gaffney and Chris Buno completed the 9K course under 30 minutes to place in the top-20. Siena's score of 103 was 68 points better than Hartford.
