Women's Cross Country Races to Fairfield Invitational Title

Twin sisters Kim and Michelle Milton enjoyed their best performances of the season, leading four Siena runners who finished among the top-six in a tri-event victory over Sacred Heart and host Fairfield Saturday afternoon. Pat Gaffney led the Siena men with a second place individual finish in 27:40.

The Milton's completed the 5K course in 19:35 and 19:40 respectively. Kelsey Hanno checked in shortly after in 19:40 and Joan Paul wasn't far behind with a time of 19:52. Kate Luker rounded out Siena's top-five, completing the course in 20:16, good enough for 10th place.

Gaffney's second place finish on the men's side was his top spot of the season. Bryan Knipfing took fifth place in 28:10 nearly a minute in front of twin brother Andrew's 14th place finish. Bobby Oerzin and Brian Luthin completed the top-five Siena men's finish.
