Siena Women Run 4th at Quinnipiac Invitational; Men Place 6th

Kelsey Hanno placed 11th out of 99 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 49.5 seconds as the Siena women's cross country team placed fourth out of nine schools at the Quinnipiac Invitational Saturday.

Hanno's effort was 13.5 seconds faster than teammate Michelle Milton, who crossed the finish line in 20:03.0, good for 15th place. Kim Milton, Kate Luker and Joan Paul rounded out Siena's top five finishers with overall finishes of 19th place, 22nd place and 26th place, respectively.

Pat Gaffney led the Saint men with a finish of 27:50.0, good for 21st place overall in the 84-runner field. Brian Luthin and Bryan Knipfing finished 2.7 seconds apart in 31st and 3nd place overall with times of 28:42.9 and 28:45.6, respectively.

Siena returns to action at the Fairfield Invitational Saturday.
