Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena women's cross country team finished ninth overall, while the men placed 18th Saturday morning during the squad's first meet of the season at the Fordham Invitational. Freshman standout Brina Sequine led the women clocking an impressive 19:32 for a 20th place finish. Sophomore Jed Turnbull was the top Siena finisher on the men's side completing t he 8K course in 30:01.

The women completed the day with 257 points and the men nabbed 533. Penn took the top spot overall on the men's side tallying 42 points, while Princeton solidified first place honors for the women with 20.

Additionally, Ryan Donnelly (30:32), Chris Mannato (30:58), John Hart (32:15) John Farley (32:29) had their times count for the men.

Andrea Hollinger (20:41), Carly Calogero (21:19), Casey Morelli (21:24) and Sarah Schaefer (21:27) rounded out the top five finishers on the women's side.
