Lori Perillo
Lori Perillo begins her first year as assistant athletic director for development. Perillo served as athletic academic advisor at the College from 1999-2001. Perillo most recently worked as the director of men's basketball operations at Seton Hall University from 2001-2006. In that capacity, she oversaw office operations, assisted with travel and competition needs, coordinated summer camps and worked as the liaison for the athletic staff. "We're thrilled to have Lori back at Siena and confident she is the right person for the job," athletics director John D'Argenio said upon her hiring. "Lori has an engaging personality which makes her well suited for this position. She already has a great relationship with many people in the department and throughout campus as a result of her time as academic advisor, which should make for a smooth transition." In her previous stint at Siena, Perillo monitored, assisted and enhanced the academic efforts for all of Siena's student-athletes. She also served as assistant compliance officer, life skills/champs coordinator and assistant soccer coach. Perillo obtained both her bachelor's (legal studies) and master's degrees (higher education administration) from the University of Buffalo, where she was a four-year starter on the Bulls' women's soccer team. Upon graduation, she played soccer professionally for the Long Island Lady Rough Riders. Perillo's primary responsibility as assistant athletic director for development is the oversight of the Saints Alive! Athletics Fund. The Saints Alive! Athletic Fund consists of the philanthropic private donations Siena athletics receives annually. The fund helps supplement the department's annual operating budget. Additionally, Perillo will oversee several department sponsored events, such as the annual Saints Alive Shootout! and the men's and women's basketball banquets, among others. Perillo resides in Schenectady.
