Introduction

Siena College participates in NCAA Division I athletics and is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). Siena begins its second NCAA Certification Process with its orientation visit on March 14, 2004, and will conduct the self-study process during academic year 2004-05. The process will conclude with a peer review visit in September 2005. Siena conducted its first certification self study in 1996 and hosted the peer review team March 16-19, 1997. The NCAA Committee on Athletics Certification certified the College at its October 19-20, 1997 meeting.
