Aug. 16, 2007 The Siena College athletic department is seeking talented singers and choirs to perform the national anthem before home volleyball, soccer, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball and baseball games during the upcoming 2007-08 season. Singers will be selected to perform at Times Union Center, the Alumni Recreational Center, Soccer, Turf, Baseball and Softball Field on Siena's campus. To participate, performers should send a recorded performance (CD, DVD, and VHS only) of a traditional version of the Star-Spangled Banner along with an application. Those selected to perform will be assigned a date and will receive a gift from the Saints. For consideration, all entries must be received no later than September 15. All applicants will be pre-screened by the Saints' marketing and entertainment staff, with top performers gaining an invitation to perform at one of the games.
