The Siena athletic department in conjunction with the Saints Alive! Athletic Fund and the Saints Varsity Club will hold its annual summer picnic Tuesday, August 12 on the Siena campus beginning at 6 p.m. The picnic is open to the general public and admission is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

Head coach Fran McCaffery and the men’s basketball team will hold an open practice in conjunction with the picnic from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. In addition to enjoying the practice and an Italian dinner, fans will have the opportunity meet with coaches and student-athletes from many of the department’s 18 Division I sports programs.

McCaffery and women’s basketball head coach Gina Castelli will address the crowd.

A portion of the proceeds raised will help offset the costs of the men’s basketball team’s August 16-29 trip to Italy.

The Italian themed event will also feature Italian music and Italian raffle items.
